Product Description:
The Pacific Scientific high performance drive, the PC832-001-T, like its counterparts, was tested in accordance with the Emission limits according to chapter 6.3.1 of that regulation, First environment / restricted distribution. It complies with the low voltage directive according to CE guideline72/23/EEC, the applied harmonized standards: EN 50178:1997, the EMC Directive and the applied harmonized standards. This drive is driven by a 240/210 VAC which is connected to the terminals of L1, L2, L3. This drive also has a motor case ground which provides a convenient point for the ground connection and power shield of the motor. The PC832-001-T also has three (3) terminals, U, V, and W the terminals of which provide 3-phase power output to the brushless motor.
This drive has a serial port J1 which has 9 ports coded J1-1-9 it includes J1-1 with +5 VDC RTN/:Shield Common/shield - serial port interface, J1-2 with RS-232 TXD RS-232 transmitter output (from PC830), J1-3 with RS-232 RXD RS-232 receiver input (to PC830) J1-4 with an input/output +5 VDC output (250 mA maximum between J1-4 & J1-5), J1-5 I/O RTN/+5 VDC RTN Common serial port interface, J1-6 with an input/output of RS-485 TXD (+) RS-485 transmitter output (from PC830), J1-7 with an input/output of RS-485 TXD (-), J1-8 and J1-9 with input/output of RS-485 RXD (+) and RS-485 RXD (-) respectively, RS-485 receiver input (to PC830).
In addition to these, an adaptor can be powered from a serial port with a +5 VDC output provided that the load current on J1-4, J2-14, and J3-10 total less than 250 mA. This drive does not only combine the best of specifications, but it is also effortless to handle.
