The PC832-001-A is one of the all-digital brushless servo drives from Pacific Scientific. This is a cost effective servo drive of choice that will bring high amounts of functionality, speed, and quality. The servo drive was made to the strict guidelines and with the best technologies for products during its time of manufacture. While the servo drive has a small physical footprint, this is no indication of the type of power that this motor will provide. The power level of this servo drive is 2.7 A RMS continuous and 5.3 A peak. It utilizes a command interface designation of RS 232/485. It features D-sub connector kit accessories and a standard unit customization code.
The Pacific Scientific PC832-001-A servo drive amplifies the power that the servomechanisms it is connected to uses. The drive also serves the purpose of monitoring the servomechanisms feedback signal and adjusts on a continual basis if there is any deviation from normal behavior. This drive is designed with cabinet mounting and operation in mind. It has the capability to be mounted vertically on a solid, flat, electrically conductive cabinet mounting surface that is connected to protective earth ground and that is capable of supporting the servo drive’s weight.
The PC832-001-A servo drive requires a balanced, three-phase mains that provides 380 to 480 VAC to operate it. The servo drive is manufactured according to safety standard CE EN50178. It is recommended that only Pacific Scientific cables be used with these drives since these are the cables with which the drivers were characterized and tested using. When you use Pacific Scientific Cables you will be more certain of the drive running at peak capabilities.
