The OC950-502-01 option card is manufactured by Pacific Scientific for the OC950 Option Cards series. The board’s nonvolatile program area is 128K x 8, so user macros and configuration tables can be stored locally without consuming controller memory. Signal flexibility is provided by 21 discrete I/O channels, and each channel can be configured as a sourcing or sinking point. For host connectivity, the card supports the multi-drop RS-232/RS-485 serial interface and transfers framed messages using a 10-bit word length. A 100 µs RC filter constant is applied to every input to suppress contact bounce, and stored program data and parameter blocks remain intact for 10 years.

Threshold switching occurs below 1.0 V on a falling edge and above 3.5 V on a rising edge, with a built-in 10 kΩ pull-up that biases open inputs.
