This drive delivers low ripple current and excellent current regulation using a four-phase bipolar chopper. The product has 16 inputs and 12 outputs that are user-configurable. This device has low instability at mid-speed ranges because of digital electronic damping. The unit comprises an internal cooling fan. It encompasses an encoder interface for position verification. This drive comprises 12 kB battery-backed RAM to move profiles and store parameters.

The product delivers micro stepping of up to 51,200 steps with each revolution. The device performs stall detection, position verification and correction, and electronic gearing using a quadrature encoder input. This unit is deployed in labeling machines.
