Product Description:
The 6430-001-K-N micro stepping drive crafted by Pacific Scientific is powered from a 120 VAC or 240 VAC power supply. This drive controls the winding currents of the motor at a frequency of 20 kHz. The product must be power cycled when a fault is encountered to resume its operation. This device features optical isolation on all its inputs. The unit should be handled only as indicated in its manual. It is intended to be stored at a temperature ranging from -40 degrees C to 70 degrees C. This drive does not support connections by the user to its internal circuitry.
The product has to be free of power when any connections are established or removed. This device is meant to be mounted on a surface that can withstand its weight. The unit requires an indexer connection for ramping the step frequency when it is used with applications featuring more than 300 RPM speed. Its Enable input cannot be used for a safety shutdown. This drive should at no time be operated at more than 60 degrees C. The product is associated with a 16 AWG to 14 AWG shielded wire for cabling the power connector. This device portrays eight positions for its DIP switch. The unit supports 15 step sizes. Its power board has an AC switch that helps the user select a voltage of 120 VAC or 240 VAC.
This micro stepping drive must be cleaned only on the outside using low-pressure and clean, dry air. The product should not be run in a defective state. This device has a weight of 6 lbs. The unit is UL Recognized. It has an AC switch and an Enable sense input.
