Product Description
The Pacific Scientific's 105 Motion Control Card OC930-001-00 is designed to deliver effective motion control in servo systems. This card is fully compatible with the SC900 and SCE900 series servo drives to ensure smooth integration for industrial use. Fitted with a 9-pin female D-subminiature connector (J31), this card provides a secure connection interface for signal transmission.
This card enables secure communication by its capability to support both RS-232 and RS-485 serial communication at a baud rate of 9600. With this facility, the data transmission between the drive and a host system is ensured to be stable, hence making it a dependable option for critical control applications. The DIP switch (S1) enables this card to have an easy setting of communication addresses, which is important in RS-485 multi-drop configurations, to connect multiple drives within a single system. The OC930-001-00 motion control card has an onboard EEPROM memory to hold non-volatile parameters. This memory also enables this card to work efficiently as a personality module, holding system-specific data that enables the servo drive to identify and configure itself accordingly. The OC930-001-00 motion control card weighs only 0.11 kg and is ideal for use in areas where lightweight is crucial.
Designed to be used with the 930 Dialogue software, this card supports PC-based monitoring and configuration to provide an easy-to-use interface for setting parameters and troubleshooting. This software also simplifies the configuration process as well as allows real-time adjustments. Another important feature of this card is its ability to support field firmware upgrade, which allows the user to upgrade the firmware of the servo drive without the need for hardware replacement. This OC930 card is also capable of storing data that can be either stored on the card or in the drive, depending on the needs of the system.
