It converts reference signals into precisely timed gate patterns and monitors feedback channels so automated packaging, assembly, and material-handling lines can coordinate speed, torque, and position without external converters. During steady operation, the card supplies a continuous output current of 40 A and provides continuous shaft power of 9 kW when paired with a compatible motor. The DC bus operates at 320 VDC and stores regenerated energy, while a three-phase mains supply of 230 VAC is rectified on the board. The insulated-gate transistors switch at 5 kHz, a rate that balances acoustic noise with thermal rise.
