Product Description:
The MPS60B power supply unit is used to power up servo and spindle drive modules. It is made by the renowned company Okuma and it develops designs by utilizing reliable high-quality functioning for numerous machineries worldwide.
The MPS60B power supply unit has a total weight of only 0.45 kg that supports the conversion and distribution of DC power in numeric control setups. Real-time diagnostic information and error codes appear on the front display panel through two 7-segment liquid crystal displays to support system monitoring and error checking. The connectivity options of mini-USB-B and RS232 represent "232" and "C" to provide straightforward setups within CNC networks for data exchange and parameter configuration and firmware updates. Inside the unit exists DIP switches numbered from 1 to 5 that help users to set internal operating parameters including baud rate and other operation modes. The markings B:5.00 and R:203 represent resistance values which affect signal conditioning and protection functions. A massive set of electrolytic type capacitors within the unit functions to maintain the high DC bus voltage stable.
The MPS60B power supply unit has an effective heat dissipation that is ensured by aluminum material heatsinks while high-speed OMRON OAF118-23TB cooling fans with a voltage of around 115V AC are used to maintain temperatures. Power terminals on the top and bottom work by including ports with DCA and DCB which are used to connect high-current DC lines to other modules. These connectors are engineered to handle enough electrical loads by ensuring reliable distribution to servo amplifiers and other components. The firmware version such as U:2.0.2 or U:2.0.3 is utilized for compatibility reference during system integration.
