Intended for installation in CNC cabinets, the device converts incoming industrial power into regulated energy for spindle inverters, servo drives, and control electronics that coordinate cutting, positioning, and auxiliary equipment. This arrangement lets multiple drive sections draw from a common source, which supports synchronized machine motion without requiring separate supply hardware for each axis group. By combining conversion, protection, and regenerative circuitry in one enclosure, the unit shortens panel wiring runs and simplifies cabinet integration and service access.
The supply handles a continuous load of 30 kW, so its internal rectifier, capacitors, and regenerative components are suited for high-duty machine cycles. It receives a three-phase 200 V AC input through the mains terminals and delivers a DC bus of 300 VDC to the axis and spindle amplifiers after rectification. An auxiliary output of 24 VDC is available for sensors, relays, and operator-panel LEDs, which removes the need for a separate control transformer and helps keep the low-voltage control circuit independent of the main bus. The design monitors line conditions and disconnects the drive group when the input exceeds 253 Vrms, which helps protect insulation and semiconductors from overvoltage. During rapid deceleration, the built-in regeneration circuit returns excess kinetic energy to the plant supply instead of dissipating it as heat, which reduces thermal stress inside the cabinet.
The enclosure is 150 mm wide, 325 mm deep, and 380 mm high, allowing it to fit into narrow control cabinets next to servo amplifiers while still leaving space for airflow and adjacent wiring paths. Screw connections on an M4 terminal block allow secure attachment of ring lugs and simplify cabinet wiring when mains, bus, and control conductors must be landed in a confined area. A mass of 11.8 kg supports manual handling during retrofit and also adds thermal mass that helps reduce temperature swings created by regenerative braking. The compact housing is useful where cabinet depth and side-by-side module spacing must be managed carefully.
