The MIV22-3-V3 model reflects the latest motion control technology developed by Okuma. The model incorporates state-of-the-art control features required to precisely control a drive system. The MIV22 inverter unit comes with a sophisticated design and an extended fin for efficient cooling. Internal and external cooling fans are provided to force air in and out of the unit. The model is comprised of high-quality hardware components and requires firmware to be efficiently controlled. The MIV unit is powered by 300 VDC and control power 24 VDC through a DC power supply unit. The inverter unit is equipped with a dedicated servo, encoder, and converter link to directly communicate with the peripheral devices. The MIV unit uses a 7-segment display with an indicator LED to show the live operational stats. The MIV22 inverter unit is rated for a 22-kW electric motor. This model is specifically designed to be used in conjunction with the VAC motor.
The model MIV22-3-V3 reflects a special emphasis on simple and easy design. The design allows hassle-free mounting into the desired position. The inverter unit includes a power module, power boards, inverter control boards, and cooling fans to force air through the radiation fins. The product MIV22-3-V3 is a first-generation unit by Okuma. Note that the controller ID number should be set after changing the MIV unit. A dedicated controller ID switch is provided below the LED display. When replacing the MIV unit with a new one, read the instructions in the MIV maintenance manual.
