Product Description:

The MIV06-3-V5 is a servo drive manufactured by Okuma to accurately carry out accurate automation control in industrial production systems. This servo drive is a highly durable device that maintains an operational efficiency of about 95 percent under normal operating parameters; it also contains a durable housing that is specially structured to allow for the direct integration of the drive into any position in the servo system. This servo drive is free of dangerous chemicals such as mercury and asbestos; it also contains a high metal content, making it possible for industrial operators to recycle the servo drive after its usefulness as a control device has been exhausted. The modular design of this industrial servo drive also makes it possible for operators to replace specific parts of the controller without reconfiguring the whole servo system.

The MIV06-3-V5 industrial servo drive is specifically suitable for single-axis position control; industrial motors controlled by this servo drive generate a power output of about 6 kilowatts; this high power output makes the servo drive particular suitable for industrial operation. The MIV06-3-V5 contains a three-phase electrical connector through which it connects to the 24-volt power supply unit; it also contains a special internal memory that allows it to hold relevant operational information. A seven-segment light-emitting diode is also integrated in front of the servo drive; these diodes display special error messages that can be used to monitor the operational status of the servo drive.

The MIV06-3-V5 is connected to a network through a servo link; an FCP board functions as the master station in the servo link. The internal temperature of this servo drive is also regulated via forced ventilation.
