The MIV0404-1-B5 inverter unit is manufactured by Okuma and belongs to the MIV Servo Drives series. As an inverter module for multi-axis CNC systems, it supplies controlled three-phase power to synchronous or induction servomotors and coordinates feedback from the machine position loop. Integrated into an Okuma THINC control, the unit exchanges data with the master drive and linked encoders so that each axis receives the torque and speed commands needed for precise machining and automated material handling. This control arrangement allows the system to correct axis motion in real time during contouring, positioning, and synchronized machine movement. It is intended for coordinated motion where consistent response from multiple axes is required across repeated production cycles.
