Product Description:
The MIV02A-1-B5 inverter is a second-generation inverter. This Okuma inverter has a 2.8kW unit capacity for the L side. The protective earth cable of the product is to be connected to the electric cabinet to avoid the possibility of electric shock due to leakage. The device must be used in adherence with the general instructions provided for safe operation. The unit is capable of connecting the connected motor by means of its inbuilt control board. It has the ability to control one motor at a time. The inverter should be replaced only after two minutes of shutting down the power.
The product has to be assigned a controller ID number after it has been changed. The device displays the characters 3, 4, 5 and 6 followed by the operating mode J, C or P; one after the other on the left side of its seven-segment display when it is started up. The display lights up two segments to represent the initialization process by means of a shake-hand communication with the host system. The inverter portrays a total of seven initialization processes. The device encounters an OPF error when its option program file has a problem. Its control board has to be changed and the option program file must be checked.
The inverter is sized at 380 x 60 x 295mm (H x W x D) with respect to its external dimensions. The product weighs 5kg. This device can be put to use with either a BL series motor or a PREX series motor from the same manufacturer. It must be connected only with a power supply that has an overcurrent protection mechanism such as a fuse or a circuit breaker connected to it. This prevents the unit and/or its cables from burning out. This inverter is associated with a warranty backup for one year and is transported in custom military-grade packaging.
