The MIV0102-1-B5 is one of the latest and most efficiency industrial servo drives designed by Okuma to accurately control the operation of electrical motors used in industrial production systems. This servo drive is a very durable control device designed according to the IP20 protection class; its housing unit is specially designed to protect the internal components of the controller from the interference of solid foreign substances with an external diameter higher than 12 millimeters. This industrial servo drive is also very safe for operation as it is free of dangerous chemicals such as mercury, silicon as asbestos. Unlike convectional industrial control devices, the MIV0102-1-B5 is self-diagnostic, it features special sensors and actuators that allows it to independently detect operational error and alert the operator by displaying an appropriate error message on the display unit integrated into its housing unit.
The MIV0102-1-B5 industrial servo drive features internal air bower and an heatsink which works together to keep the heat generated in the motor’s housing unit within a permissible range through forced ventilation. This servo drive is particularly compatible with BL and PREX motors, it is also compatible with a wide range of industrial production and processing machines such as the metal forming machines, handing systems and lots more.
The MIV0102-1-B5 industrial servo drive features a built-in control unit through which industrial operators can monitor and control the operation of the servo drive in real time. Although this drive controller is designed to be perfectly safe for industrial operation, only persons that are familiar with Okuma products and have gone through the documentation of the servo drive should be allowed to handle this device, this is important to prevent dangerous motor movements in the servo system.
