Product Description:
The MDUE-22-2444-M Servo Drive is a multi axis motor control unit designed for industrial automation applications. Its compact metallic chassis built from heat resistant aluminum alloy ensures mechanical durability and heat dissipation. The servo drive is suitable for cabinet or rack installations using a baseplate with bolt slot mounting configuration.
The Okuma MDUE-22-2444-M servo drive supports a DC input range of 300 – 600 V through DCA and DCB terminals that is compatible with external power supply or regenerative systems. Motor output is distributed via PA, PB, PC and PD terminals. The integrated capacitor bank and relay modules enable stable current delivery and switching control. The servo drive can manage up to five axes labeled SA, W, X, Z and T. Each axis is independently controlled with the SA channel typically driving the spindle. The drive topology is based on insulated gate bipolar transistors (IGBTs) using a three phase inverter architecture. Embedded current sensors and optical feedback systems enable real time motor performance tracking and closed loop control. Cooling is maintained through bottom mounted heatsink fins and multiple internal fans.
Advanced control of the MDUE-22-2444-M servo drive is achieved through a specialized board embedded with microcontrollers and FPGAs. It includes multiple optical fiber connectors to support high speed serial communication. An 8 bit digital display is built in along with diagnostic switches for quick fault isolation and system verification. The drive features essential electronics such as voltage regulators, capacitors and signal relays using Omron G6B series components for internal switching functions. The onboard control system monitors key parameters including motor current, voltage levels and thermal conditions. Position feedback is also continuously tracked to ensure precision. A diagnostic interface allows users to access error codes and operational metrics in real time.
