The E4809-770-109 ACP board manufactured by Okuma is an integral component of the manufacturer’s OPUS 7000 system. This board performs the role of a control board. The product is also referred to as a control panel. The device helps in monitoring and controlling machines electrically in industrial applications. The unit incorporates dials and switches for performing these functions. It also has various other electronic components such as transformers, circuit breakers, a power supply, relays, contactors, terminal blocks and a power supply to assist in the operation of the machine. This power supply assists in converting 480/120VAC voltage to 24VDC.

The board has a disconnect switch among other switches for the disconnection of its electrical supply. This disconnection is needed for maintenance or repair of the control panel or to stop it in case of an emergency. The transformers in the product help to step down the voltage from 120V to 24V. The design of a control board is based on how complex the system in which it operates is. The terminal boards serve as connection points to join various wires of the ACP board together. The components and terminals of the control board must be clearly labeled. This control board is shipped through reputed freight carriers and has a one-year warranty.

There are three types of control boards. They are the power control center panel, the motor control center panel and the automation panel. The first type of board functions as a power distribution board for controlling the power that is supplied and has vertical sections that monitor and control the different electric parameters. The second control board is used to control motors from the generation stage to the production stage in electrical power industries. The automation panel is the most efficient control board and is integrated with PLC logic as well as programming. This panel is used in several electrical and electronic circuit fittings.
