The BLIV-D100D is a single-axis drive unit engineered by Okuma and placed in the BL Servo Drives series. Acting as the power amplifier between a CNC controller and a matched servomotor, it provides the regulated current and velocity commands needed for automated tool positioning, feed control, and other motion tasks on production machinery. It is used as a dedicated axis module in high-performance machine tools, where stable closed-loop response is needed during repeated acceleration and deceleration. Integrated fault monitoring helps the control system react to abnormal operating conditions before axis performance is affected.

This drive handles one mechanical axis, and the designation 1 shows that only one motor is powered per unit. The power section is supplied from 200 V AC 3-phase, while the low-level control circuits use a separate 100 V AC feed to keep logic power isolated from higher current paths. A dedicated brake circuit provides 24 V DC, allowing the connected motor brake to engage during emergency stops without depending on the main bus. Motion and feedback wiring terminate on Connector A type MRP-20F01. Additional I/O and encoder channels are routed through TG33-8S-F0R and DBUF-25S-F0 interfaces, which separate control signals from field power and help keep wiring organized at the front of the unit.

The aluminum chassis is intended for direct panel mounting and measures 482 mm in length, with a width of 123 mm and a height of 193 mm, allowing it to fit in shallow control cabinets. Four mounting points spaced on a 450 mm by 80 mm grid accept M6 bolts, and each point is factory tapped to the standard depth. Field terminations on the front barrier strip tighten with M4 screws so electrical connections remain secure under vibration. With a mass of 6 kg, the unit adds limited load to the enclosure while retaining enough material for heat dissipation.
