Product Description:
Okuma's BLIII-D150D servo drive is made to provide fine motor control and feedback integration for use in automation projects. The drive can work with a variety of normal single-phase or three-phase industrial power sources because it can handle a wide range of input voltages. It works with external interface modules, which makes it easier to integrate into complicated control architectures.
The BLIII-D150D servo drive works with an input voltage of AC180V to 242V at 50/60 Hz. The voltage goes through a breaker that is attached to terminals R, S, and T. Terminal E is linked to the protective earth. The CN1 link is used to let MRDY and MRDY-COM know that the machine is ready to go. CN2 oversees encoder feedback for magnetic and optical encoders with output channels AA, AB, and AZ and return lines AA-RT, AB-RT, and AZ-RT. DA, DB, and DZ lines let optical pulse generators talk to each other. Both types of encoders get power from +12V and ground through CN2. CN3 is in charge of the motor power connections and resolver input. The resolver's terminals are labeled S1, S2, S3, S4, R1, and R2. Twisted, sealed wires that are impervious to noise are necessary for their connection. The U, V, and W terminals of CN3 can supply power to a motor. The FU, FV, FG, and E terminals are used as fuses or filters.
The BLIII-D150D can communicate with DC9004 modules, which are responsible for data distribution and DC link connections. When external motors are used, the servo drive has a resolver input. It also gives you a separate, safe link to the ground, which makes operations safer. This servo drive is designed to be easily installed in industrial automation systems.
Frequently Asked Questions about BLIII-D150D:
Q: How does BLIII-D150D handle encoder feedback?
A: The drive supports magnetic and optical encoders. It uses separate return lines for clean signal referencing and noise immunity.
Q: Why does BLIII-D150D include resolver terminals CN3?
A: Resolver feedback is used with external motors. It provides absolute position tracking where magnetic encoders are not integrated.
Q: Does BLIII-D150D support safe earth grounding?
A: Yes, terminal E ensures proper protective earth connection. It prevents leakage currents and protects internal circuits during faults.
Q: Why do BLIII-D150D connectors include MRDY signals?
A: MRDY ensures the machine is electrically and mechanically ready. It acts as an interlock before enabling motion commands.
Q: Do BLIII-D150D encoder channels have power output?
A: Yes, the encoder interface supplies +12V. This supports external encoder operation without additional power wiring.
