The BLII-D7550A is a dual-axis servo drive produced by Okuma within the BL Servo Drives series. Using an integrated SVCII board, it manages two independent motor channels for positioning and speed control in CNC machining centers and other automated equipment. By converting three-phase line power into regulated outputs, the unit supplies current to each motor and returns velocity and torque feedback to the controller for closed-loop motion. Its two-axis layout reduces panel space and wiring compared with separate single-axis amplifiers, and it allows paired feed axes to be handled from one cabinet module. This arrangement suits compact machines where two servo axes must be coordinated without adding a separate amplifier for each motor.
Power distribution is separated between the main and control inputs. The drive draws a three-phase mains feed rated at 200 V AC, while its logic circuitry uses a single-phase supply of 100 V AC, keeping the control section distinct from the main power stage. Continuous output capacity reaches 75 A on the first axis and 50 A on the second axis, so the two channels can support different motor loads in the same unit. A motor overcurrent trip activates at 150% of the limit current to protect the windings during abrupt load changes, and the drive provides proportional monitor outputs for torque reference and actual speed.
