Product Description:
The BLII-D30A is a servo drive amplifier manufactured by Okuma for the BL Servo Drives series. As a single-axis drive, it interfaces between the CNC controller and a permanent-magnet motor, converting incoming three-phase mains power into controlled current for speed, position, and torque regulation in automated machine tools and material-handling stations. It also supervises feedback signals and supplies low-voltage control power to the associated motion controller. This arrangement lets the drive respond quickly to changing axis demands while maintaining closed-loop motion control during cutting, indexing, and transfer moves.
The power stage is rated for an amplifier capacity of 30 A, allowing the unit to deliver continuous phase current to medium-frame servomotors without derating. The control electronics are fed from a single-phase auxiliary source at 100 V AC, so field wiring can be separated from the higher-energy bus. Internal protection uses a diode bridge rated at 50 A / 800 V, and motor switching elements rely on a discrete IGBT module sized at 30 A / 600 V. The inverter outputs are synchronized with the machine mains through a three-phase power bus that carries the main drive energy. Separating the auxiliary supply from the main power path helps keep the control section active for monitoring and command handling.
During operation, the main circuit receives 200 V AC line voltage, with a permissible range from 180 V to 220 V to suit typical factory feeders. Environmental limits include a relative humidity ceiling of 75% RH without condensation, a cabinet vibration tolerance of 0.5 G, and a unit temperature ceiling of 55 °C at the heat sink. Diagnostic outputs are provided for motion tuning: a torque monitor supplies 10 V proportional to load, while the velocity monitor offers a scale of ±10 V / ±3750 rpm for oscilloscope capture. These monitor signals allow load and speed behavior to be observed during operation. The monitor channels provide analog signals that can be viewed directly while the axis is running.
