Product Description:
The BLII-50A Servo Drive Unit is developed to deliver accurate and controlled motion performance in industrial applications. This unit supports smooth integration with motor, brake, encoder and power supply systems.
The Okuma BLII-50A servo drive unit accepts a three phase 180 to 240 V AC power input with a frequency range of 50/60 Hz. The main terminals R, S and T of this drive are connected to a 3 phase 200 V AC power supply while terminals AC1 and AC2 accept 100 V AC input. This unit interfaces with a regenerative discharge unit connected through VH, RD, TRC and VL terminals used optionally to absorb excess energy. Motor connections include terminals U1, V1 and W1 routed to the motor’s U, V, and W phases. This drive integrates brake functionality through MB11 and MB21 terminals and thermal protection is wired using TP11 and TP21. It also includes motor brake power connections (MBP, MBN) and a motor overload detection signal (TPP, TPN) via the XB-4 terminal block. Encoder feedback is managed through XB-1 and XB-2 terminals that handle signal types such as SIN, COS, FG and MPR. Communication lines include ECLK, WRST and DATA with isolated ± 12 V and 0 V outputs.
Encoder signals and shielded feedback wiring of this BLII-50A servo drive unit are carefully structured for signal integrity. Analog signal input (DA) and communication (DA-COM) are provided on XB-3 terminal of this drive unit. A 24 V power supply is used for encoder circuits and controller boards. Proper grounding of this unit is ensured via FG points distributed across terminals. This BL series servo drive unit is designed for reliability with built in safety signaling.
