Product Description:
The BL III-D is a versatile Okuma servo drive suited for robust motion control applications. It offers coordinated and synchronized axis control, making it ideal for multi-axis machinery and precision automation systems. The drive is engineered to provide consistent communication between motor and controller, enabling smooth motor performance. It operates on a flexible three phase power supply within a voltage range of 180 to 240 VAC. This input range is common in manufacturing environments, making it easy to integrate the drive into standard setups. The broad voltage range also provides enough flexibility to accommodate variations in supply while maintaining consistent operation.
For performance reliability, the BL III-D drive includes built-in protective and fault detection features that are designed to safeguard both the servo drive and the connected equipment during operation. These integrated safety features continuously monitor critical parameters such as overvoltage, undervoltage, overcurrent, overtemperature, and communication faults. When an abnormal condition is detected, the drive initiates an automatic response such as a controlled shutdown or alarm signal. This helps to prevent component damage or hazardous situations, reducing unplanned downtime for enhanced system productivity.
The BL III-D supports a wide motor capacity range from 15 to 150 kilowatts, making it suitable for both mid-sized and high-power motion control applications. This broad compatibility allows it to drive a variety of servo motors, from those used in moderate-load systems to high-demand machinery such as heavy-duty CNC mills or large gantry robots. The ability to handle up to 150 kW ensures that the drive can deliver substantial torque and power across different machine configurations. This helps to streamline integration by reducing the need for multiple drive models in the same facility.
