M.1015.6970 is a YSM series brushless servo motor. It is designed and manufactured by Kollmorgen. Compared to brushed motors, brushless motors have significantly superior performance and lower maintenance requirements. The motor has a 115 Volts rated winding. It is also equipped with a 24 Volts DC optional holding brake. Applications for YSM motors include robotics, light packaging machines, postal sorting, laboratory and medical equipment, and material handling. Standard YSM motor features include integrated 2000-line optical encoder with differential line driver, high energy neodymium magnets, and IP43 protection rating. The M.1015.6970 motor delivers 0.4 Nm continuous torque and 0.97 Nm peak output torque. Its rotor inertia is 0.000005 kg m2. Resistance of windings on the motor is 3.2 Ohms at 25 degrees Celsius. Inductance of windings on the motor is 3.8 millihenry.
