This model uses the NEMA 23 or 60 mm metric frame class, so it can replace stepper motors or older servo units that share the same bolt circle. Its rotor is built with 3 stacks, which provide the active iron length needed for higher continuous torque without increasing the footprint. Internal copper is matched to winding code D, which suits medium bus voltages and moderate current limits. Position information is returned through a resolver, which tolerates heat and vibration well. The unit is supplied with no brake, so applications that require holding torque during power loss must rely on drive torque or an external clamp. The shaft uses mount code C, which means a plain straight shaft with a metric keyway for standard hubs.
