The VLM23D-ALNR-00 is one of the best synchronous motors that is used for executing a highly accurate servomechanism. The motor is used with the servo amplifiers produced by Kollmorgen. The servo amplifiers have been specially designed to give the user increased control over the motor's speed, position, and torque. This model comes with a Resolver based feedback that works in conjunction with the motor's closed-loop system. With an electrically isolated PTC thermistor device, the motor's winding temperature is constantly monitored. This serves to detect high temperatures and avoid overheating failure. If the motor is operated at 115 V mains voltage, it can clock speeds up to 3000 rpm and can generate 0.3 kW power and 0.94 Nm torque. The VLM23D-ALNR-00BBB’s flange has NEMA compliant dimensions, and it has been designed to mount in IM B5 mounting style. Because of double-coned collects, there is minimum backlash while the motor is operating. The system comes with IP 65 standard ingress protection that gives complete protection against dust particles, oily fluids, and pressurized water jets.
