The TBM-7631-B frameless motor is manufactured by Kollmorgen as part of the TBM Frameless Motors series. Supplied without a housing, the rotor and stator are embedded directly into the end product's mechanics, allowing robotic joints, pan-tilt stages, and compact rotary axes to use a shorter drive chain and improve dynamic response in industrial automation. Because it is a frameless design, the surrounding assembly provides the bearing support and alignment normally supplied by a conventional motor housing.
This model delivers a continuous stall torque of 1.64 N-m while drawing only 10.6 Arms of continuous stall current, so heat rise stays manageable in tight enclosures.
