The TBM-7615-B belongs to the TBM product family. This motor has an outer diameter of 76 mm and a stack length of 15 mm. The TBM-7615-B has low cogging design and laser marked armatures. The low cogging design of this motor lowers the magnetic locking of the motor. The TBM-7615-B is also RoHS compliant, which means that there are no hazardous materials used in this motor that are restricted by the EU. This motor has a compact form factor with minimized inertia. This motor has a robust construction. Typical applications of the TBM-7615-B includes weapon stations, sight systems, robotic joints, and UAV guidance.
The TBM-7615-B yokes are manufactured with stainless steel which provides maximum protection against corrosion. Kollmorgen can do several modifications for this motor. The customer can specify the bolt hole and the circumferential pattern for mounting. The customer can also specify lead colours. The base model of the TBM-7615-B comes with either white, black, or red lead colours. The thermal sensors on this motor can be either PTC or KTY type devices. The minimum lead length for the base model of the TBM-7615-B is 400 mm whereas, upon customer request, the length can be increased up to 1200 mm or decreased to much as 150 mm.
