The TBM-6013-B is a direct drive torque motor and is used in areas like robotic joints, weapon systems, sight systems, guidance, and propulsion of drones, sensor gimbles, and other motion-sensitive applications. The motor operates on a 48 volts DC power supply. It comes with banded rotors. The banding tape is applied with high mechanical tension, and the banding resin is kept at a high temperature for the perfect bandaging. The motor can deliver a continuous stall torque of 0.390 Nm. Another added advantage is that the motor can be directly embedded on the machine by using the machine's own bearings.
The TBM-6013-B can deliver a peak torque of 1.23 Nm at a 26.9 A peak current. The motor's compact form factor enables it to generate high power despite its lightweight and small dimensions. This is why it is suitable for applications where there are high power requirements, along with space constraints. The motor has an outer diameter of 63.5 mm, and it is RoHS compliant. Laser marked armatures have been provided in this model. The motor has significant resistance against corrosion because of its stainless steel yokes. This model can reach a maximum speed of 4300 Nm and has a torque sensitivity of 0.054 Nm/A. The internal windings of this model can sustain very high temperatures during operation.
