Product Description:

The SS2000OF is a Drive manufactured by Kollmorgen. It is part of the SS2000 SLO-SYN Drives series. It is the perfect solution for industrial automation tasks.

The SS2000OF drive is designed with user friendly indicators for real-time system status and fault diagnostics which reduces downtime and simplifies troubleshooting. It can come preconfigured to control one or two motion axes which makes it suitable for multi-axis systems. Its manual tuning feature allows precise adjustment of the output frequency or pulse rate which is useful for quick setup or fine tuning in the field. It comes with optimized control algorithms or hardware that reduce audible noise which is important in noise sensitive environments. The module built in overload protection enhances safety and reliability by automatically limiting current to prevent damage to the drive or motor. It is capable of highly accurate motor control, ideal for applications that requires tight regulation of either torque or rotational speed. Instead of encoders it uses a resolver for feedback which offers higher durability in harsh conditions and excellent position accuracy. The drive’s modular architecture allows easy scaling, configuration or expansion and is ideal for controlling multiple axes.

The SS2000OF drive supports multiple industry-standard analog input types such as 4 to 20 milliamps current level, a 0 to 10 volt analog signal or a -10 to +10 VDC differential voltage which allows integration with a wide range of control systems and PLCs. Its current handling capacity is 6 to 110 amps peak which indicates it can support both small and large motors. It is able to respond rapidly to command inputs and feedback and ensures precise control efficiency especially in dynamic or fast changing applications.
