The Kollmorgen SS2000D6i-WOC is a step motor positioning drive which is shipped without a serial cable. Kollmorgen recommends bench testing of the system before connecting it to the motor or machine. The bench testing will enable those working on the system to become familiar with wiring, programming, and operation of the system, and will also help to prevent any inadvertent damage. The SS2000D6i-WOC should be mounted inside a control enclosure. For proper airflow, a minimum spacing of 50.8 millimeters should be provided on all sides of the mounted drive. Areas with high levels of electrical noise should also be avoided. The drive features 8 general purpose inputs, 4 general purpose outputs, 1 user enable input and 1 analog input. The 8 general purpose inputs can be sinking or sourcing opto-isolated inputs.
The 4 general purpose output signals on the SS2000D6i-WOC are sinking only opto-isolated outputs. The user enable signal is a sinking input. The analog input has a voltage range of 0 to 10 Volts.
