The Kollmorgen SLO-SYN430P1 is a bipolar, two-phase stepper motor drive in the SS2000 SLO-SYN series.

Featuring a built-in IC translator, the drive is capable of full-step and half-step resolution, the flexibility of which is dependent on the needs of the system in terms of smoothness and positioning accuracy. It has step rates up to 10,000 steps/sec, meaning it can fit a lot of motion profiles, both slow and controlled, or make more rapid, dynamic movements. The chopping frequency is 20kHz and provides quiet and efficient current control. The drive has a nominal 28 V DC of operation and a supply voltage range of 24 to 36 V DC. It features an input current of up to 4.0 A, can be used in steady applications, and is thermally safe to use since its total power dissipation is 40 watts. The SLO-SYN430P1 can work with Kollmorgen stepper motors between M061 and M112 and can be used in 4-, 6-, or 8-lead configurations, but the motor inductance must be 0.55 mH or greater, and the motor resistance should be no more than 3.5 ohms.
