The shaft of the motor is supported by two, high-grade ball bearings. In this motor, the magnetic field is created and maintained through permanent magnets. The windings of this motor are protected with H class insulation. You can safely deploy this motor for continuous operation in environments where the ambient temperature remains within a range of -20 to 40 degrees C. the SR3642-4822-7-56BC-CU can be operated in temperatures beyond 40 degrees centigrade provided that the mode of operation is cyclic. For applications where speed monitoring is required, you can acquire a tachometer adapter kit separately. The motor`s speed feedback from a tachometer adapter kit can be routed to your motion control system.
This model is offered with a NEMA 56C frame and a closed ventilated enclosure without a shaft-mount fan. However, the design characteristics of the motor allow it to continues operation without overheating provided that the operating temperatures remain within the vendor-defined range.
