The device regulates three-phase motor currents from a shared DC bus and uses resolver feedback to synchronize its output waveforms with the rotor position. This control structure allows automation systems to command precise torque and speed profiles on packaging lines, pick-and-place modules, and gantry axes where rapid dynamic response and consistent positioning are required. The resolver signals provide the controller with continuous rotor-angle data, allowing accurate commutation as the motor accelerates, decelerates, or operates under changing loads.

Bus surge protection is set to 430 VDC, and the controller disables its gate signals if regenerated energy pushes the DC link beyond this threshold. The maximum permitted ambient temperature is 45 °C, while noncondensing humidity can reach 90% RH. Additional safeguards disconnect the unit if the DC bus falls below 125 VDC during operation or remains under 255 VDC at startup. These protective actions prevent incorrect motor commutation during brownouts and other low-voltage conditions.
