The current stage can deliver a continuous phase current of 30 A RMS per phase and withstand short bursts of up to 60 A RMS per phase, allowing the drive to handle acceleration peaks without saturation. Commutation is synchronized with motor position at frequencies up to 400 Hz, so high-speed spindles or rapid pick-and-place axes remain within the drive’s electrical limits. The current loop is refreshed every 62.5 µs (16 kHz), while velocity regulation is recalculated every 250 µs (4 kHz). These short cycles minimize the delay between a command and the resulting torque.
