The CP310260 is a digital AC servo drive produced by Kollmorgen for the SP Servostar Servo Drives series. It is intended to operate between the plant’s three-phase supply and a matched permanent-magnet servomotor, shaping current so motion controllers can issue exact speed, torque, and position commands. Inside a compact housing, the unit rectifies and inverts the mains power to deliver sinusoidal output. It also forwards status information to higher-level controls, making it a central drive interface in packaging, material-handling, and general automation equipment.

On the power side, the drive accepts a three-phase 230 VAC input at 12 A and is protected by a 25 A line fuse. Continuous motor current is 10 A, while short-term load surges are handled with 20 A RMS for dynamic acceleration. Pulse-width modulation runs at 8 kHz, which keeps acoustic noise and current ripple low. A soft-start circuit limits bus-charging current to 30 A to protect upstream circuit breakers.
