Product Description:
The Kollmorgen SMC-151 is a new bipolar chopper drive that offers high performance for stepper motor applications. It uses 16 VDC to 32 VDC input, making it easy to interface with several power supplies. It has a current output of 2-3.5 A to enable efficient and controlled motor operation and movements. It also has a no-load current of less than 30mA. It reduces power consumption while efficiently controlling the motor. It features dimensions of 4.75" W x 3.625" H x 1.25" D and has been designed for quick integration into various automation and motion control systems.
The SMC-151 has a pulse rate control that ranges from 20 to 10,000 pulse per second (pps) that the end user can set using some switch inputs. It enables the users to adjust the motor speed and efficiency. The drive includes output current sourcing/sinking of 100 mA, which effectively controls signals of parts connected during circuit operations. It also holds series resistors whose value is 2200 ?, which helps in controlling the amount of current passing through the circuit and stabilizing its operation.
The Kollmorgen SMC-151 is designed to be a heavy-duty servo motor that performs optimally in tough conditions. It has its bipolar chopper drive technology that helps to control current flow effectively, minimizing heat formation and increasing motor performance. Such position sensing and precise regulation of movement improve the drive. SMC Motion Stepper Drives are highly accurate, energy efficient and precise in motion management. They minimize heat generation, enhance the durability of the motor, and reduce the fluctuation in the speed of the motor. With the help of advanced microstepping, the vibration and noise are kept to a minimum.
