SO-4008-0000 is a Silverline series industrial amplifier from Kollmorgen. It is a six-step module designed for demanding applications. Supported features include high linearity, differential input, field configuration, multiple operation modes, jumper selectable commutation, overcurrent and overvoltage protection, ESD protection on inputs, reverse polarity protection, DC bus input surge suppression, and optical isolation for AMP OK and ENABLE. SO-4008-0000 is an amplifier that is designed for 20 to 40 Volts DC input. At 40 degrees Celsius, the continuous output current is 8 Amps DC and the peak output is 16 Amps for 2 seconds. At 40 degrees Celsius, the continuous output of the amplifier is 320 VA and the peak output is 640 VA for 2 seconds. The amplifier’s mode of operation is current mode. A cover is not provided for the unit.
The amplifier supports 18 kilohertz PWM switching frequency. It has an overvoltage trip threshold of 43 Volts DC.
