The H-232-G-0600 is a robust motor design that boasts of an IP40 housing protection and a high accuracy standard hall effect feedback unit. Unlike most other motors used in industrial applications, this product features a square frame that is easily integrated and is able to easily withstand large foreign solid interference. Only amplifiers designed by Kollmorgen should be used with this product. Any amplifier intended to be used with the motor must be configured to meet the motor’s operation requirement. The motor is unable to withstand water and dust penetration, this makes it unsuited for use in harsh environments that might expose it to these contaminants.
The H-232-G-0600 contains a specially crafted permanent magnet motor, which is responsible for its ability to maintain low inertial even while undergoing dynamic applications. The magnets are also responsible for the motor's ability to undergo rapid acceleration and deceleration while maintaining high efficiency. There is no air blower installed into this industrial motor, however the motor is at low risk of overheating since its operation temperature is efficiently dissipated through natural convection, and also thermal radiation from the motor’s housing. Operators are also required to aid the temperature regulation process by ensuring that ambient air temperature around the motor during operation is not more than 45 degrees.
At the peak speed the maximum line current used by this motor design is about 17 amperes. The maximum line to line voltage required by the motor is measured to be about 250 volts. The encoder present in this motor design is the 1000 LPR encoder, this encoder operates with a shielded cable and its own protective housing.
