Product Description:
The SCIR06260 is a servo drive produced by Kollmorgen within the SC Servostar Servo Drives series. It converts low-voltage command signals into controlled three-phase outputs that regulate motor speed and torque in automated machinery. By integrating resolver feedback with drive-level current regulation, the unit maintains closed-loop position or velocity control for linear stages, pick-and-place heads, and compact material-handling axes used in general industrial automation.
The drive has a width of 125 mm, a height of 256 mm, and a depth of 163 mm; these dimensions help with the allocation of rail space and airflow paths inside a control cabinet. During operation, the power stage can deliver a continuous motor phase current of 6 A, allowing it to run medium-frame servo motors without derating. All internal logic and control circuits receive power from an external 24 VDC source, so a dedicated low-voltage supply must be present in the control enclosure. Resolver feedback enters through the C2 connector, allowing noise-resistant rotor position data to reach the current control loops during each cycle.
The mechanical interface uses 10-32 (M4) hardware secured with a tightening torque of 20 lb-in. Connector shells require a tightening torque of only 2.25 lb-in, which minimizes strain on the header threads. Control terminals accept ferruled or bare conductors and use M3.5 screws tightened to 12 lb-in, providing consistent electrical contact across temperature changes. With a mass of 2.36 kg, the unit can be mounted securely while resisting vibration in an operating cabinet. Correct installation requires a vertical orientation, 12.7 mm of clearance on each side, and 63.5 mm of unobstructed space above and below the heat sink to maintain natural airflow.
