Product Description:
The SC1R06260 servo drive is manufactured by Kollmorgen as part of the SC Servostar Servo Drives series. It is a single-axis amplifier that regulates current and voltage to a connected servomotor, using resolver feedback to coordinate precise motion in automated equipment such as pick-and-place modules or small conveyors. The drive combines the power stage, signal processing, and application I/O in one enclosure, giving machine builders a compact component for closed-loop control within industrial automation cells.
The power section accepts three field-selectable inputs: 115 VAC single-phase, 230 VAC single-phase, or 230 VAC three-phase. These options allow the same model to operate in light-duty or plant-wide distribution panels. Continuous output is rated at 6 A, and an isolated control bus requires 24 VDC to keep the logic active during main power sequencing. Position feedback is handled by a resolver, which enables velocity and torque loops without high-resolution encoders. The architecture supports a single axis, so command mapping is straightforward. Control logic wiring accepts conductors from 28 to 16 AWG, while discrete I/O wiring accepts conductors from 22 to 18 AWG. The main supply and motor phases both use 14 AWG conductors. Terminal screws on the signal connectors must be tightened to 2.25 lb-in to maintain vibration resistance.
The unit weighs 2.36 kg and mounts through four panel holes threaded for 10-32 (M4) fasteners. These fasteners should be tightened to 20 lb-in. A separate ground stud is provided and must be secured to 12 lb-in. Installation requires 12.7 mm of clearance on each side for ventilation. Clearance of 63.5 mm above and below the drive provides space for cable bends and airflow. The side walls contain threaded mounting inserts, while the front face provides quick-disconnect motor and feedback sockets that allow access without disturbing the fixed wiring.
