Product Description:
The SC1E03260 is a single-axis servo drive produced by Kollmorgen within the SC Servostar Servo Drives series. It conditions three-phase mains power for precise torque and velocity regulation of a matched servomotor in automated machinery such as pick-and-place gantries and packaging stations. By converting control commands into regulated motor current, the drive closes the loop through an encoder feedback channel and supports the deterministic motion profiles required in industrial automation.
Designed for a single mechanical axis, the controller organizes its electrical interfaces to simplify cabinet wiring. The power stage delivers a continuous phase current of 3 A, and the main input and motor output conductors are sized for 14 AWG copper wire. The hardware-enable and motion-enable lines accept 24 VDC signals, isolating safety interlocks from mains potentials, while the internal logic rails also use a 24 VDC supply that can remain active when mains power is removed. Network integration is provided by an Ethernet jack marked C6, and the feedback loop terminates at connector C2 for differential encoder signals. Field terminals have a maximum screw torque of 0.25 N·m to protect the printed circuit board connections from excessive strain.
Four 10-32 (M4) screws secure the housing and have a maximum tightening torque of 2.26 N·m; the required threaded fastener size is 10-32 (M4). The installed weight is 2.12 kg, so the unit can mount on light-gauge panels without additional reinforcement. To maintain convective airflow, adjacent equipment must provide a side clearance of 12.7 mm and a vertical gap of 63.5 mm above and below the heat sink fins. Separate 14 AWG motor conductors exit through the lower gland plate, which keeps the power wiring organized inside the cabinet. The encoder cable should be routed away from the power bundle to minimize crosstalk and preserve the integrity of low-level feedback signals.
