Product Description

Automation has become an integral part of modern-day industries. Kollmorgen is a manufacturer of a variety of automation equipment and the company’s products are used in leading industries around the world.

The S70301-NANANA servo amplifier is used for motion control in DC, asynchronous, and servo motors. The system comes with Aqua-B encoder and Com-coder evaluation onboard. Operating on a 1.1 kVA power supply, the system comes with an inbuilt fan for ventilation and heat removal from the control cabinet. For enhanced protection, the servo amplifier has been programmed to shut-off automatically if temperature levels in the control cabinet rise beyond safe limits. The S70301-NANANA’s power supply has been provided with interference filters. Three expansion card slots have been provided on the system’s front side. The servo amplifier can operate in a temperature range of 0 ᵒC to 40 ᵒC. The vibration resistance level of the system is in accordance with the IEC standards and the outer enclosure protection is according to IP 20 standards.

The S70301-NANANA comes with shock hazard protection. It also has an emergency stop switch and safe torque off (STO) feature. The STO feature is used to prevent the motor from receiving torque that exceeds the motor’s torque limits. The servo amplifier is also provided with a dynamic braking feature. Dynamic braking is a quick way to dissipate the motor’s kinetic energy as heat. This results in the immediate deceleration of the motor as the K.E is dissipated as heat in the brake resistor. The suitable relative humidity conditions for the system’s operations are within 85% relative humidity. For the setting of operational parameters, an inbuilt software is provided that can be used with the help of a PC.
