The S700 series servo amplifiers are used for servo control of industrial automation machinery. The S70301-NA is a servo amplifier belonging to this series and comes with CANopen, EtherNet, and a pulse direction interface. The device has a strong built and is protected in accordance with IP 20 standards. Furthermore, it can operate in a 0 ᵒC to 40 ᵒC temperature range and in humidity conditions of up to 85% relative humidity. The S70301-NA comes with safe torque off feature and automatically shuts off if the temperature of the control cabinet rises above safe limits. With a 7.7 mH inductance, the servo amplifier offers a completely digital operation. The controls for current, speed, and position are completely digital. An intelligent position control can regulate the position while speed is controlled through an adjustable speed controlling device.

The S70301-NA comes with the 2CAN expansion module. Connectors for RS232 are also provided. The system's noise emissions are very low and stand at only 45 db(A). Expansion cards like DeviceNet and SynqNet can also be utilized with the help of expansion slots provided with the system. The S70301-NA is mostly used with servo, DC, and synchronous motors. An inbuilt fan also comes with the amplifier that acts as an effective source of heat ventilation. The system’s vibration class is 3M1 according to the IEC standards. The S70301-NA can be mounted in a vertical position and its peak output current is 20 A. As a whole, the S70301-NA is an effective platform for position and speed control applications.
