The S70301-NA is a servo drive manufactured by Kollmorgen for the S700 Servo Drives series. As a drive, it supplies regulated three-phase power to matched servomotors, enabling precise speed and torque control in automated machinery and material-handling cells. EtherCAT and CANopen communication are available on the base unit, so no expansion card is required for networked motion control. That built-in connectivity lets the drive fit systems that use standard industrial Ethernet or fieldbus communication without changing the core hardware.

This model operates from a line range of 208 to 480 V and delivers a continuous output of 3 Arms while supporting a momentary demand of 9 Arms. The converter draws up to 2.2 kVA under rated load and releases 70 W of heat during that duty, values that guide cabinet ventilation sizing. These operating values suit applications that need stable continuous performance with additional current available during short motion events. With a DC bus ceiling of 900 VDC and an output current form factor of 1.01, the drive supplies nearly sinusoidal current to reduce motor heating. The reduced-load carrier is held at 16 kHz to minimize acoustic noise, while the standard switching frequency remains at 8 kHz. Idle operation produces 20 W of thermal loss.
