For rapid acceleration it can supply 140 Arms for 5 s before reverting to nominal limits. The output stage is pulse-width-modulated at 8 kHz, yielding a current form factor of 1.01 that keeps additional copper losses low, while the residual 6 V drop across the bridge preserves voltage for the motor. With the power stage disabled, thermal loss is confined to 24 W, supporting natural cabinet convection.
