The S7720F-FBF2-S4 digital servo amplifier by Kollmorgen can be used only with a motor that has Class F insulation or above. This servo amplifier uses a bus cable with a characteristic impedance of 120 Ohms to meet ISO 11898 specifications. The product supports three different ways of setting its station address. This device features a value between 0 and 63 for its station address. The unit has two LEDs near the terminals on the expansion cards. It tends to run roughly when the speed controller has a very high setting. This amplifier has a very hot housing with a surface temperature of more than 80 °C when it is under operation.
