The S7720F-FBF2-PA servo drive is produced by Kollmorgen and belongs to the S700 Servo Drives series. As a digitally controlled power stage, it interfaces between a three-phase mains supply and a synchronous or induction motor, managing torque, speed, and position loops for automated machinery in packaging lines, robotics, and test systems. The closed control structure helps the axis respond quickly to commanded motion and changing load conditions during operation. Cooling is controlled by the fan-controller expansion card, and coated PCBs may be specified to resist oil mist or humidity.
