Product Description:

The S7720C-SNF2-F2 Kollmorgen digital servo amplifier features autotuning and cogging suppression functionalities. This servo amplifier uses a memory card to store its parameters and firmware updates. The product has an inbuilt fan with a protective grille. This device has a rated line power of 50 kVA for S1 operation. The unit features Class 3M1 vibrations according to IEC 60721-3-3 specifications. Its coldplate must have a flatness of less than or equal to 25 µm. This amplifier uses a 24 V supply voltage at the X9B connector to control the holding brake of the motor.

The product portrays a continuous brake power of 8 kW for its external brake resistor. This device is disabled and its BTB contact opens when an error message is encountered. The unit displays the F05 code relating to an undervoltage error on the LED display if the undervoltage threshold is undershot in the DC bus link. It triggers the electrical braking action when its enable signal is removed. This product is capable of implementing the stop as well as emergency stop categories only when the STOPMODE and ACTFAULT parameters are set to 1.

The device executes the shutdown of the installation machine as fast as possible in a dangerous situation with the emergency stop function. This unit associated STO needs very little wiring. Its STO also switches only low voltages resulting in no contact wear. The servo amplifier triggers uncontrollable motor movement if the STO function is engaged by separating its enable inputs from the 24 VDC when it is in use. This product must not have the STO function activated during cleaning, maintenance, and repair operations.
