The S7720C-FBF2-S3 Kollmorgen digital servo amplifier has a safety option related expansion card in the third slot. This servo amplifier also houses a feedback extension card that enables the simultaneous connection of a digital primary feedback and a secondary analog feedback at the X1 connector. The product is mounted onto the backplane of a control cabinet. This device runs at 50% rated speed based on the temperature. The unit can be linked with other amplifiers for master-slave operation. Its analog outputs deliver analog values converted from digital values. This amplifier has multiple safety related functions.
The product can be used with a rotary synchronous motor because of the safety associated expansion card. This device can be stopped by controlled braking and retained in a standstill mode by the SS2 function. The unit comes along with a product safety guide, a CD-ROM with the setup software and online documentation, and five mating connectors. Its SLI function ensures that a relative position of the drive is maintained. This amplifier comprises a 24 V pulse direction interface.
