The S7720C-EIF2-S4 is a digital servo drive manufactured by Kollmorgen as part of the S700 Servo Drives series. Designed for industrial automation, the unit interfaces with motion controllers to supply regulated three-phase power to brushless synchronous or induction motors, execute safety shutdowns, and monitor feedback in real time. By converting a high-voltage AC supply into precise PWM waveforms, it governs the speed, position, and torque loops used in packaging machines, material-handling axes, and process equipment. This operating role makes it suitable for coordinated motion systems that require fast response to command changes and changing load conditions.
